A signal 16/23 MVA was toned out at 1449 (2:49PM) on March 16th. The one vehicle incident involved an overturn. The MVA was located on the eastbound lanes of Route 347, just east of Route 111.
The accident scene was under the command of 4-2-31 (Chief Duffy). Responding were Engines 4-2-2 and 4-2-4, Hook and Ladder 4-2-7, Fire Medic ambulances 4-2-61, 4-2-62 and 4-2-64.
The driver and passenger were removed from the overturned vehicle and transported by 4-2-61 and 4-2-62 to Stony Brook University Medical Center.
Units were up with the exception of 4-2-61 and 4-2-62, traveling to the hospital at 1517 (3:17PM).
